From time to time, amazing things can be seen in the sky over Fort Wayne. The most frequent of these are flyovers by the International Space Station. I enjoy photographing them and, more importantly, spreading the word so that others can see them as well!
Whenever the space station passes over, it amazes me to think that there are 3-6 people from different nations on that bright dot gliding silently across the sky. A million pounds of hardware, covering the size of a football field orbiting 260 miles overhead.
Pretty cool, isn’t it?
On this page, I will post information on Fort Wayne ISS flyovers (and anything else interesting that you can see in the night sky) as well as tips for viewing them.
