Dear Friends,
Welcome to the online
gateway to my 2010 campaign
for re-election as Allen
County Recorder.
For the past three years, I
have had the privilege of
serving as Allen County
Recorder. From the first day
of my term, I have worked
hard to make the Recorder’s
Office the best it can be
because I believe that all
of us expect the most from
the people we elect, no
matter what office they
hold.
When I campaigned in 2006, I
made ambitious promises
about making the Recorder’s
Office faster, more
service-oriented and less
costly. I am delighted to
report that we delivered on
every one of those promises,
creating an award-winning
example of local government
innovation.
It has been my goal to
redefine how the Recorder’s
Office can best serve its
customers, throwing out the
concept of “That’s the way
we’ve always done it.” To
that end, we have
implemented many
cutting-edge changes since I
took office. In many ways,
we are leading the State of
Indiana in the use of
technology to serve our
customers in more efficient
and less costly ways.
I have always believed that the Allen County
Recorder’s Office can be far
more than it has been. We
have already proven that It
can be a place where
innovation occurs, where
customer service pushes
aside bureaucracy and where
government and business work
as partners.
